Explore Toddlers starts again on Thursday 9 September.

Explore Toddlers runs every Thursday morning in term time between 9.30 and 11.30am. It is open to anybody with young children; dads, mums, grannies, childminders and anyone else who needs a good cup of coffee!!!

We meet at Rickmansworth Baptist Church Hall on Rickmansworth High Street, just beside the Watersmeet Theatre.

We charge £1 per week per family, and there are no other costs involved. This fee covers the craft activity, fruit and veg snacks and as much coffee or tea as you can drink!

We do not ask you to commit to coming every week, so please turn up whenever suits your family schedule.

We have free play and craft activities until 11am, then break for a healthy kids snack which is followed by singing time.

Explore Friday is an amazing family event and we’d love you to come along!  Our next one is Friday 17 September.

What’s the plan?

We can arrive on site any time after 10am and set up camp.

The plan for the weekend is simply to enjoy time together as a church family, to relax and have some fun with our children.

We’re asking everyone to bring their own lunch for Saturday, a simple picnic and we’ll all eat together.

After lunch we can play games, explore the camp, maybe go for a walk or use the sports hall.

We’ll cook up a big BBQ for the evening, watch the sun go down and hope the children get to sleep!!

Sunday morning breakfast will be cereal and croissants followed by a family service in one of the centre’s rooms.

We’ll probably BBQ again for lunch and then hang around as long as people want. We need to be off site by 4pm.

If camping is not your thing, you are welcome to join us in the day and sneak back to the comfort of your beds at night!

If you don’t have a tent but would like to camp, chat with us and we’ll try and sort something out.
